Hi! My name is Yolanda Taylor! As a licensed mental health counselor, I am ready to help you succeed on your path through the healing process and work towards helping you feel and be your very best. Using an open heart and empathy, my clinical training has allowed me an understanding to work with you on building a better future for you and/or your family. Together we can collaborate, learn what you want to achieve in your life and find the rhythm by which your happiness thrives to live your best life. Accepting who you are is a key aspect of my therapeutic style. Feel free to come as you are and I will assure a welcoming, friendly, and secure environment so you may begin on the path to healing. My passion for helping others has developed into a purpose to help you through your journey.
For 25 years, my journey of helping others through mental health began right out of college. Back in 1996 my experience began in different facets of mental health including working with youths in residential facilities, foster care, preparing for reunification and/or adoption, parenting, couples, families, to working with youths and adults in an outpatient setting. I have always been a listening ear for others, since middle school, and now it has become my specialty. Just know that you will be heard. My clinical background includes, but not limited to, being trauma informed, working with a variety of diagnoses such as depression, trauma, PTSD, Bi-polar, ADHD, ODD and many more. As a band singer, I know music can be calming, helping the soul to relax and feel at ease. It is a nice technique to incorporate as self care. My goal is to empower you and help guide you in being the conductor of your life. Let's take this journey together and see where this train called life will lead.
